Accenture Procurement Plus is seeking an experienced and driven Category Manager Technology to lead our Italian technology category operations. This role plays a critical part in executing global and regional strategies at a local level, ensuring value delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and supplier performance across the Technology category.

As the Manager for Technology, you will be responsible for:

• Lead implementation of the global/regional Technology category strategy at the country/market unit level, leading and developing local category Procurement Plus Technology team and initiatives

• Implementing global and regional sourcing strategies within the local market, driving cost savings, service excellence, and compliance and support local business planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making

• Support pipeline planning and forecasting of sourcing activities and implement supplier KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensure effective contract implementation and usage of preferred buying channels and Design RFPs and conduct competitive sourcing processes

Key skills:

• At least 9 years’ experience in procurement or category management experience, including project leadership in the IT industry and Technology categories

• Comfortable working in a matrix type organization, stakeholder and team members (on-shore & near-shore) management skills

• Analytical, presentation, communication (written & oral), interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills

• Relationship management skills and a proactive customer-focused approach

• Ability to manage multiple projects, adopt a flexible approach and prioritize tasks appropriately

• Degree and Fluent in English
