The Opportunity
Accenture is looking to recruit a Asset Management Consultant or Manager within our Industry X consulting practice in Ireland with a focus on both Utilities and Health and Public Sector.
Required Experience
10+ years in asset management consulting or operations, with 5+ years sector-specific: utilities (transmission/distribution), health or public sector (local government infrastructure). Proven experience with full lifecycle of asset management processes and core technical EAM skills including data-systems integration with real-time telemetry, and enterprise APIs for interoperability and anomaly detection. End-to-end delivery with procurement, capital planning, and system blueprints tying raw asset data to enterprise reporting solutions.
Functional Skills: Asset registration, asset management, asset performance management / condition based maintenance, asset investment planning
Non-Functional Skills: Effective communications with all levels of stakeholders, understanding and practitioner of project governance models within regulated industries, delivery in agile / waterfall methodologies, Problem solving and data led decision making, commercial acumen.
This role is focused on helping our clients across the end-to-end asset management processes including but not limited to development of asset management strategies, maturity assessments, process definitions and roadmaps; Asset reliability and condition-based monitoring. Asset coverage could include utilities (networks, substations, water treatment works); health facilities (hospitals, medical equipment) and public sector developments (road / rail infrastructure, buildings). Support our clients in driving digital transformations of the EAM / ERP systems (Maximo, IFS, SAP), embedding standards such as ISO55000 and integrating with OT / SCADA, IOT & GIS into centralised digital twins. Overseeing architecture design for asset data models, business processes design and configuration. Strong stakeholder engagements including delivering and managing workshops, business case development, and cross-functional change management across client’s organisation.
In this role you will:
- Help clients target and deliver value through the digital transformation across their asset and operations business processes.
- Develop enduring, trust-based relationships with people at all career levels, both professionally and personally, internally, and externally. This includes receiving and providing (based on experience) coaching and career development across the IX practice.
- Help shape, sell and deliver projects that create tangible value, including conducting as-is / to-be fit gap analysis, developing application and technology enabled solutions and providing input into business cases and roadmaps, to achieve the right value led outcomes for the client.
- Facilitate client innovation and requirements workshops and use a human-centred approach to solve problems, frame opportunities and achieve innovation through collaboration and co-creation.
- Use AI (ML, GenAI, Agentic AI) to support client transformation journey to value realisation.
- Provide experience driven points of view on key industry challenges and technology trends, and present an impetus for change in industry context
- Design the application technology solutions to enable future ways of working – new operating models, business functions and processes, whilst working closely with business strategists, process owners and domain experts.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on consulting / technology practitioner with good knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions (processes and supporting technical infrastructure) in either Resources / Utilities or H&PS client environments.

- Awareness of all aspects of designing and constructing end-to-end solutions, including application integration, security, within local (edge), enterprise (on premise) and cloud architectures.
- Assisting client business case development by estimating technology and implementation costs and effort estimation using own experience and Accenture guided estimating tools.

- Enterprise asset management (EAM) / computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Plant / factory automation and control systems (PLC, DCS,SCADA).

- Direct experience in Infrastructure and Networks including (Road & Rail, Telecoms, Utilities (T&D), Construction Services).

- Public procurement (OJEU).
- Industry standards BIM / ISO19650 / ISO55000.
