What would you do? You will be aligned to our Financial Services and banking sector by helping the client on lending Residential Mortgages to qualified borrowers.
The role of a US mortgage underwriter involves assessing and evaluating mortgage loan applications to determine their eligibility for approval.
The mortgage team focuses on lending home mortgages to the qualified borrowers by complete validation of required documents. The role requires a good understanding of credit analysis, financial analysis, onshore collaboration, and document evaluations.

• Proficiency in mortgage origination software and MS Office suite.

• Roles and Responsibilities: • Well-Versed with all 4’cs of Underwriting (Asset, Income, Credit & Collateral)

• Evaluate loan application submitted by borrower, including reviewing their credit histories, income documentation , employment history.

• Assess the risk associated with each mortgage application, considering factors such as the borrower’s credit score, debt to income ratio, loan to value ratio and property appraisal.

• Perform the quality control checks on approved loans to ensure accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulations.

• Saty updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and underwriting guidelines to maintain a high level of expertise and ensure compliance.

• Effectively communicate underwriting decisions with processors and advisors.

• Please note that this role may require to work in night shift.
