What would you do? The Finance and Accounting domain focuses on reimagining finance through digital transformation and intelligent operations. This includes procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, FP&A, risk and compliance, treasury, and tax operations. Our AI-driven solutions realize high impact outcomes like touchless processing, improved forecasting accuracy, and significant cost reductions.

• The Techno-Functional Expert will act as the Technical Delivery Lead, blending deep functional expertise in Finance and Accounting with strong technical skills in Python, AI, and Machine Learning. The role requires delivering end-to-end AI/ML-enabled finance solutions that help clients optimize their finance operations, ensure compliance, and enhance decision-making. The candidate will bridge the finance function and technical teams to drive innovative, scalable solutions.What are we looking for? • Deep expertise in Finance and Accounting processes, such as P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A, risk, compliance, and treasury.
• Proven experience in Python programming with applied knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques relevant to finance.
• Successful track record of delivering finance transformation solutions involving AI/ML for enterprise clients.
• Strong understanding of finance systems, ERP integrations, automation frameworks, and data analytics.
• Excellent client management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience leading technical delivery teams, managing project lifecycles, and driving business value.
• Familiarity with Accenture Syn Ops or equivalent hyperautomation platforms is an advantage.
• 12+ years of combined finance functional and technical delivery experience, preferably in consulting or professional services.
• Certifications or advanced training in finance technology, AI/ML, or data science.
• Experience in cloud-based finance solution deployments and advanced analytics platforms. Roles and Responsibilities: • Lead the design and delivery of AI/ML-powered finance and accounting solutions aligned to clients transformational goals.
• Act as the primary liaison between finance functional teams and technical delivery teams, translating finance requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Develop and implement Python-based AI and ML models for forecasting, automation, analytics, and operational intelligence in finance processes.
• Manage client engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery within timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate across teams to optimize finance systems and workflows, leveraging Accenture’s Syn Ops platform and other intelligent automation tools.
• Mentor junior consultants and technical staff in finance domain knowledge and emerging technologies.
• Stay current on finance technology trends and advancements in AI/ML to enhance client solutions.
