  • What would you do?

  • Provide overall leadership and governance for teams supporting participant-initiated requests across Money Out, Loans, Payroll, and monetary/non-monetary transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.

  • Oversee end-to-end withdrawal and distribution operations, including EFT validation, payment corrections, failed rollovers, qualified charitable distributions, address and name maintenance, unclaimed property handling, tax reporting corrections, and exception (NIGO) management.

  • Lead coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors, including inbound and outbound communications, to ensure seamless transaction processing and issue resolution.

  • Oversee daily reconciliation activities for participant transactions, including NAV-based plans, ensuring prompt identification and remediation of breaks.

  • Direct participant loan operations, including loan initiation, amortization, repayment tracking, re-amortizations, deemed distributions, refunds, closures, and asset transfers involving loans, ensuring adherence to plan provisions and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee deposit administration and payroll operations, including cash receipts, ACH processing and balancing, premium and wire receipts, remittance reconciliation, unallocated funds resolution, rollovers, transfers, corrective contributions, and payroll contribution processing.

  • Provide operational oversight for individual retirement and annuity products, including annuitization activities, benefit estimates, eligible deferred compensation plans, and required minimum distribution calculations.

  • Ensure completion of late-day cash sweeps, timely resolution of failed ACH transactions by the next business day,

  • Govern daily cash management processes, including execution of daily and night-cycle cash edits, monitoring of remittances, rollover cases, and processing of non-standard or off-platform funding.

  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate general ledger postings, escalation of accounting entries, and alignment with financial controls.

  • Monitor and review daily deposit reconciliations, drive root-cause analysis for discrepancies, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Establish and maintain strong controls, metrics, and quality checks to manage exceptions, reduce operational risk, and improve processing efficiency.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization, and automation efforts to enhance service delivery and operational resilience.

  • Provide escalation management and voice support with professionalism, clarity, and sound judgme

What are we looking for? • 10+ years of functional expertise in U.S. retirement plans, including both Defined Contribution (DC) and Defined Benefit (DB) schemes. Proven ability to manage end-to-end participant -level service delivery, lead high-performing teams, and drive operational improvements.

  • Over 5 years of experience managing end-to-end Money Out processes—including in-service withdrawals, annuities, hardship and lump-sum distributions, rollovers, RMDs, and complex payouts—alongside expertise in cash receipts/deposits, Loan, Deposit Admin, Payroll and Individual Products and NIGO processing.

  • Subject Matter Expert/ Trainer with 5+ years of experience in managing team in remote transitions, developing quality checklists, performing RCA, and developing action plans to improve quality performance.

  • Mandatory experience in 401(k) and/or 403(b) plan administration, including day-to-day operations, compliance, and client servicing.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; voice support experience required

  • ASPPA certified

    • Qualified 401(k) Consultant- QKC Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems
  • May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures

  • The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals

  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor

  • May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture

  • Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments

  • Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside

  • Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture

  • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
