What would you do? The Sr. Analyst / Analyst – Trade Planning & Execution supports the commercial and merchandising teams by delivering accurate, timely, and insight-led trading reports. The role is responsible for daily, weekly, and periodic performance reporting, event analysis, and market share tracking to enable data-driven trading decisions in a fast-paced clothing retail environment.
Responsible for delivering various Supply Chain initiatives majorly focused on Planning, exception management & inventory management.

  • Develop production plan and schedule to meet finished goods inventory requirements based on demand inputs, supply inputs and any other applicable parameters and/or constraints.What are we looking for? •Microsoft Excel

  • Written and verbal communication

  • Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree

  • 5-8 years of experience in retail operations, supply chain, pricing, or merchandising support

  • Advanced Excel skills; strong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).

  • Ability to interpret large datasets and translate numbers into clear commercial insights

  • Experience with retail systems such as ERP, RMS, pricing or merchandising tools

  • Supply Chain & Merchandising Strategy

  • Supply Chain Management (SCM) Applications

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple timelines in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Problem-solving mindset with strong follow-through

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with commercial and operational teams Roles and Responsibilities: Trading Performance Reporting

  • Produce daily trading reports covering sales, margin, stock, intake, and key KPIs versus plan, forecast, and prior year.

  • Deliver weekly trading reports with clear commentary, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.

  • Support period-end and month-end trading summaries for senior leadership.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all trading reports.

  • Trade Planning & Event Analysis

  • Create weekly event performance reports (promotions, markdowns, campaigns, seasonal events, clearance).

  • Analyze event effectiveness, uplift, ROI, sell-through, and margin impact.

  • Partner with Trading, Merchandising, Marketing, and Pricing teams to evaluate event outcomes and inform future planning.

  • Track performance against trade plans and calendars.

  • Market & Competitive Reporting

  • Produce monthly market share updates using internal and external data sources.

  • Analyze category, channel (store / online), and competitor performance trends.

  • Provide insights on customer behavior, pricing, and promotional intensity in the market.

  • Support ad-hoc competitor and market deep dives as required.

  • Data, Tools & Process Improvement

  • Manage and improve trading dashboards and automated reporting solutions.

  • Standardize report templates, definitions, and KPIs across the trading function.

  • Support forecasting, reforecasting, and in-season decision-making where required.
