Summary:

We are seeking an Associate Manager Endpoint Security to support delivery, operations, and continuous improvement of enterprise endpoint protection services using Symantec Endpoint Security and VMware Carbon Black platforms. This role combines hands-on technical expertise, team coordination, and service delivery ownership to ensure secure and stable endpoint environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Endpoint Security Operations
• Manage day-to-day operations of Symantec Endpoint Security and Carbon Black (EDR/CB Defense) platforms.
• Ensure effective endpoint protection, detection, and response across servers, workstations, and VDI environments.
• Monitor alerts, incidents, and threats ensure timely investigation and remediation.
• Service Delivery and Governance
• Support end to end service delivery for endpoint security services in line with SLAs and OLAs.
• Act as an escalation point for complex endpoint security incidents.
• Participate in service reviews, operational calls, and governance meetings.
• Team & Stakeholder Coordination
• Guide and support a team of endpoint security analysts and engineers.
• Coordinate with SOC, Network Security, IT operations, and desktop teams.
• Support onboarding of new applications, servers, and business units.
• Tool Administration and Engineering
• Manage agent deployment, upgrades, and policy configuration.
• Perform tuning of EDR policies, exclusions, and detections to reduce false positives.
• Integrate Carbon Black with SIEM/SOC platforms for centralized monitoring.
• Security & Compliance
• Ensure endpoint security controls align with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
• Support audits, vulnerability remediation, and control evidence preparation.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process improvement.
• Contribute to endpoint security roadmap and maturity enhancements.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• 6 to 9 years of experience in Endpoint Security / EDR operations.
  -Strong hands-on experience with:
  -Symantec Endpoint Security / SEP
  -VMware Carbon Black (EDR, CB Defense)
  -Experience supporting enterprise-scale endpoint environments.
  -Understanding of malware analysis, endpoint attack techniques, and response workflows.
  -Experience integrating EDR tools with SIEM/SOC platforms.
  -Scripting or automation exposure (PowerShell, Python).
  -Certifications related to endpoint or security operations.
  -Exposure to ITIL-based service management.
  -Strong problem-solving and incident-handling skills.
  -Ability to balance hands-on technical work with coordination responsibilities.
  -Good communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Endpoint Extended Detection and Response.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
