As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to create scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to meet specific business needs. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions align with the overall objectives of the organization while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.

• Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience.
• Should have influencing and advisory skills.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior professionals to help them develop their skills and understanding of software engineering best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAS Data Flux ETL Tools, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL), Salesforce CRM Analytics.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Experience with data integration techniques and tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to data engineering, such as Python or Java.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• This position is based in Chennai.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
