Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance while adapting to evolving project requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-The Smart Plant Foundation (SPO/ SDx) administrator will be responsible for supporting & administering all modules of Smart Plant Foundation Application.

• He/ She will require significant skills to manage various configurations in SPO/ SDX and also the ability to work as part of a team.
• Liaising with other Smart Plant Administrators, database administrator, client teams and application vendor to develop appropriate solutions or required customization to meet client and project requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Minimum of 7-8 years of Smart Foundation experience in the following specific skills:
• Hands on experience working with SPO/ SDX Administration activities like Creating Forms (create/update/details/copy), Reports, User creation etc.
• Managing Security within the application like Access groups, Owning groups and Roles
• Very good knowledge in Document management, Transmittals, workflows, Vault management with replication and various other SPO/ SDX functionalities.
• Proper working knowledge and experience about Smart Plant Modules like Schema Object Administration, Server Manager and Schema Editor
• SPO/ SDX schema management: Hierarchy, Class Def, Interface Def, Property Def, Rel Def, View Def, Edge Def, Graph Def
• Well versed with Installation and configuration of applications including Smart Plant Foundation, Smart Plant Markup, SDV, Smart Plant License Manager or Intergraph smart Licensing, Smart Plant Interop Publisher
• Integration of Smart Plant tools with Smart Plant Foundation (SPID, SEL, SI, S3D)
• Mapping of properties from various Smart Plant tools to SPO/ SDX and vice versa
• Good Knowledge of Authoring Domains (LLA, IPD, etc) or creation of custom Domains in SPO/ SDX.
• Backup and Restore of Smart Plant Foundation.
• Knowledge of the database of SPO/ SDX including DB maintenance, SDV Integration with SPO/ SDX for data Validation
• Configure SPO/ SDX Web Client for SPO/ SDX
• Good Knowledge of working on API's to Integrate SPO/ SDX with third party tools like Power BI etc.
• Resolving installation, configuration issues related to Document management systems including workflows and transmittals.
• Experience in upgrading SPO/ SDX and Database to latest Versions.
• Experience in working on critical issues which arise with the Integration systems while publishing data/Retrieving, Mapping, schema validation and performance issues.
• Understanding the table structure of SPO/ SDX, which will allow looking at the database level and understand the issues in less time with tools like SQL Developer or SSMS.
• Working knowledge of Datasheet and Data list functionalities.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Hexagon Intergraph Smart Plant.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
