Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that project requirements are met, overseeing the development process, and providing guidance to team members. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that solutions are effectively implemented and aligned with project goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining communication with stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and any challenges that may arise.


Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Deliver technical solutions that will meet the business requirements of our stakeholders This will entail analyzing developing, testing and deploying the appropriate solution through the development life-cycle
- Ability to pick new technology quickly and deliver
- Produce deliverables that follow the development standards and principles, on time
- Produce a detailed breakdown of development tasks on projects
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Excellent GCP, Big Query SQL skills
-Good to have Skills: Experience with other cloud-based data warehousing solutions
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
- Experience with ETL tools and processes for data integration.
-Experience on Airflow and Unix shell scripting
-In depth understanding of large scale data, such as data warehouses and their best practice and principles of managing them
-Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and has a proven ability to influence technical decisions in a fast-moving commercial environment
-Proficiency in SQL and other programming languages such as Python or Java.
-Experience/Knowledge of GCP IAM, Cloud function and stack driver


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Google BigQuery.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
