We are looking for experienced SPARK Java Developer to join cloud first group within Accenture technology Mauritius.

Main responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable Java and Spark code
• Identify and recommend improvements to existing code, architecture, and development practices
• Mentor junior / intermediate developers and conduct knowledge sharing sessions

Technical (Mandatory)

• 5+ years of experience in Java development (Core Java 8+) and associated frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Jenkins)
• 1 year of experience in Spark Java framework or other flavors of Spark is a definite plus
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Solid database skills (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
• Good experience on DevOps / DevSecOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Nexus, Maven / Gradle, SONAR, Check Marx
• Comfortable with source code management system such as Git
