What would you do? Finance Transition Services (FTS) leveraging deep financial expertise and proven workplans, FTS sets up new or transforms existing or acquired financial management process bringing them in line with Accenture Standards, enforcing operational excellence & compliance and driving profitability growth. FTS professionals work with Senior Management throughout the firm, across all types of Organic and Inorganic transactions, across all geographies. Finance Transition Services (FTS) Manager can expect to work on the following deal profiles:

  • Organic Deals: Large new contracts in Start up Phase
  • Poorly performing financial contracts with enhanced complexity or risk
  • Inorganic Deals: Finance Integration activities on Ventures and Acquisitions

Finance Transition Services involve managing the process of changing financial systems, processes, or structures within an organization. This includes planning, execution, and support during transitions such as mergers, acquisitions, or system upgrades. The goal is to ensure a smooth and efficient transition with minimal disruption to operations. These services help maintain financial stability and compliance during periods of change. Effective transition management is crucial for achieving desired financial outcomes and organizational goals.
Finance Transition Services (FTS) Manager can expect to lead work efforts and change management in the following areas:

  • Individual contract and portfolio of contracts

  • Gather and document business case assumptions

  • Establish workplan considering both Accenture Standard requirements as contract specifics

  • Design and implementation of tools and processes which enable the client to perform financial analysis of its statements. Involves the ability to assess materiality and volatility of financial statement line items and key metrics utilizing financial ratios to determine the financial health of the company.

  • Design and setup appropriate hierarchy structure for contract in Accenture’s ERP

  • Implement standard Accenture digital finance tool set

  • Design and establish project best practice financial processes including roles and responsibilities

  • Support and advice deal leadership in negotiations, profitability recovery action plans, reporting to Accenture review boards

  • What are we looking for? •Overall integration activities on ventures and Acquisitions
    Establish appropriate hierarchy structure for both contract and non-contract financials in Accenture’s ERP
    Provide leadership in new business processes by developing and implementing sound pricing fundamentals for new and extended opportunities
    Perform or supervise preparation of program reporting as well as Accenture Internal financial accounting processes
    Manage Corporate forecasting activities as defined by Accenture as well as ad-hoc and internal stakeholder management requests
    Execute all global and local statutory, tax, Internal Controls, and US GAAP requirements as described by policy to ensure full compliance
    Provide full Management of P&L from revenue to operating income (Including non-contract Costs)
    Ensure balance sheet accountability

  • 13+ Years of experience in a Financial Role

Strong Organization and Analytical skills:

Ability to be flexible and work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Excellent Customer Service Skills:

Good Interpersonal and teamwork skills
Proven ability to supervise junior team members
Deep knowledge of business, finance, and accounting fundamentals including U.S Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
SAP S4/Hana experience
Advanced Business English Language (written and oral)

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills. Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility
  • The person would create solutions in situations in which analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Requires adherence to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals
  • Interaction of the individual is with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture, involving matters that may require acceptance of an alternate approach
  • Some latitude in decision-making in involved
  • you will act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Decisions individual at this role makes have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility
  • The person manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
  • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
