About the Role

We are looking for multiple Technology Architect to expand our Industry X team. In this role, you will be designing modern software systems running on cloud environments, overseeing development progress to ensure the proper architecture is implemented, and guiding development teams. You will be the technical owner of the project, make technical suggestions and improvements, and present architecture to the business stakeholders and clients.

In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able to translate complex requirements into functional architecture using cloud technologies. You will be required to get your hands dirty to accelerate software development, guide the team as well as oversee complex software systems.

You will be involved in any stage of product development, from solution architecture, client proposal, software architecture to delivery of the project. You will also be part of the global Technology Architects community within Accenture and have the opportunity to participate, learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand our customers' needs to define system specifications
• Spearheading technical solution and architecture of our delivery projects
• Engage with clients frequently in both delivery projects as well as sales proposals
• Communicate system requirements to software development teams
• Evaluate and select appropriate software and technologies, suggest integration methods, utilize proper cloud services
• Oversee assigned projects, conduct code reviews, provide guidance to team members
• Ensure the implementation of proposed architecture and infrastructure
• Constantly oversee systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
• Keep up to date with current trends and technologies
• Participate and contribute to local and global events of the Technology Architects community
• Occasional clients' visits to Europe

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a software architect
• Experience with cloud technologies (e. g. Azure, AWS)
• Hands-on experience with software development
• Strong knowledge of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) fundamentals, design patterns, data structures
• Proficient in at least one selected programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Kotlin, JavaScript)
• Strong knowledge of at least one database system (RDBMS (Relational DataBase Management System), NoSQL, etc.)
• Knowledge of enterprise systems, networking, and software integration
• Fundamental level knowledge and comprehension of web technologies and frameworks (e.g., REST (Representational State Transfer), Angular, React)
• Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, UNIX)
• Fundamental understanding and working knowledge of containerization, big data, advanced analytics
• Practitioner of automation, DevOps, CI/CD and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation etc.)
• Excellent communication skills

• Fluent written and verbal English skills
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
