Cloud Fin Ops Analytic Lead:

Summary:

As a Lead Cloud Fin Ops Analyst, you will play a dual role by managing Analytics team and driving cloud financial management strategies. This position requires a deep knowledge of Cloud services, data analysis, and cloud operations, along with leadership capabilities to deliver comprehensive technology solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical depth with financial acumen to optimize cloud spend and enable cost transparency across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Cloud Fin Ops Expertise
  • Implement Fin Ops best practices for Cloud environments, including tagging, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Collaboration & Strategy
  • Work with internal Cloud Fin Ops Consultants and Platform Engineering teams to gather requirements.
  • Design and develop optimization strategies that enable cost efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Translate business and technical needs into actionable cost optimization initiatives.
• Data Analysis & Engineering
  • Perform deep-dive analysis of cloud usage and cost data using SQL and Big Query.
  • Build and maintain automated dashboards and reports for cost visibility and trend analysis.
  • Develop scripts and queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Optimization & Advisory
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities through rightsizing, reserved instances, and architectural improvements.
  • Advise stakeholders on Cloud pricing models, discounts, and contractual commitments.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Experience: 2 to 3 years in cloud financial management, Fin Ops, or related roles.

• Cloud Expertise: SME-level knowledge of Cloud services familiarity with AWS/GCP is a plus.
• Data Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and Big Query, BI Tools experience with data engineering concepts.
• Tools: Hands-on experience with Cloud Cost Management, Fin Ops tools (Cloud Health, Cloudability, etc.).
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of cloud operations, resource optimization, and automation.
• Certifications (Preferred): Fin Ops Certified Practitioner, Cloud Solutions Architect/Administrator.

• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
