We are seeking an experienced I

T Service Continuity and Availability Lead to drive the transformation of our availability management practices, ensuring our IT services are resilient, reliable, and future-ready. In this role, you will lead the transition from reactive to planned and well-governed availability management, design and maintain dashboards for service visibility, and deliver executive-ready reports and insights. You’ll play a crucial part in onboarding new services and team members, setting clear expectations, and establishing robust escalation processes.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the uplift of Availability Management across services, helping move from reactive to planned and well-governed practices
  • Design, build and maintain availability dashboards that provide clear visibility of performance, trends and risks
  • Produce regular reporting on availability, continuity and capacity, including executive-ready summaries and insights
  • Work closely with technical leads and service owners to understand system design, constraints and resilience.
  • Support IT Service Continuity planning, including disaster recovery, recovery objectives and testing activities
  • Help ensure continuity planning aligns with broader business continuity requirements
  • Partner with infrastructure, cloud and application teams to understand current and future capacity demand that impacts continuity and resilience

What is Required:

  • ITIL 4 Foundations certification or equivalent practical ITSCM experience; strong familiarity with ITSM tools (Service Now preferred).
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, practical language for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise or government environments.

Additional Requirements:Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance.

This requirement ensures that all team members are clear to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.

On-call and Shift Expectations: Our positions are primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction
