What would you do?

Position Overview:

The position of Learning Experience Designer is a remote role in a global team, reporting to the Learning Experience Design Lead for Service Supply Chain in the Learning Experience Design and Development vertical. This role is integral to the design and development of learning materials and knowledge resources, ensuring alignment with adult education theories, contemporary learning and development trends, and corporate branding.

Job Summary:

As an Instructional Designer, you will be tasked with the creation and enhancement of educational content. Your work will encompass a broad spectrum of formats and platforms, requiring close collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders. The primary goal is to facilitate and improve the learning process by applying proven instructional design principles.What are we looking for? Education and Certification Requirements
A relevant educational background in Instructional Design, Educational Design, Graphic/LX/UX Design, Adult Learning Methodologies, Talent Development, or another learning-related field is required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in advanced writing, graphic design, editing, and visualizing complex processes in a simplified and accessible format.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • At least three years’ experience in teaching, training, or another adult learning-related field.
  • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and frameworks, e.g. SAM Agile, ADDIE.
  • Strong collaboration and proactive communication skills.
  • Proven stakeholder management abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Articulate 360 products, Vyond animation studios, or similar platforms.
  • Competence in Adobe programs or other graphic design, illustration, or editing tools.
  • Project management, organizational and optimization skills.
  • AI adoption for graphic design.
  • AI graphic generation, brand design implementation and Articulate Storyline. Roles and Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities
  • Apply established instructional design methodologies throughout all phases: needs assessment, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Create, update, and maintain learning content to address evolving business needs.
  • Structure and position educational content and interactive elements to optimise learning outcomes.
  • Design engaging training materials that incorporate sound instructional design practices, appropriate teaching strategies, and participant activities suitable for both small and large groups.
  • Design and test multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience.
  • Develop comprehensive courses and curricula to support organisational objectives.
  • Curate student guides and training manuals for effective knowledge transfer.
  • Perform complex quantitative and qualitative analyses of business processes, identifying knowledge gaps and learning needs to determine the best instructional approaches. This may include managing small projects or components of larger initiatives.
  • Collaborate with process SMEs to gather knowledge and information, then structure it into comprehensive, intuitive learning materials.
  • Engage in extensive text review, extracting key information and mapping process flows to ensure clarity and relevance.
  • Advocate for and communicate the benefits and impact of blended learning solutions with Delivery Leads (DLs) and Operations, leveraging data from learning evaluations and performance metrics to drive decisions and demonstrate value.
  • Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content relevance and quality.
  • Research and identify appropriate data sources for instructional material development, including information necessary for both instructor and participant resources.
  • Stay informed about current research in training and development, including learning theory, motivation theory, and emerging materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Ensure all content aligns with established objectives and corporate brand guidelines.
  • Conduct additional research as required to support instructional design activities.
