Project Role: Web Developer

Project Role Description: Design, build and test web-based applications for various site components and edit site content. Document technical designs and specifications. Research and incorporate updated content for websites.

Summary:

• Experienced ODI and OBIEE/OAS/OAC administrator with a strong background in managing, implementing and monitoring OBIEE/OBIA applications. ETL solutions using ODI, DAC/Informatica etc. Adept at integrating data from various sources, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability. Proven expertise in managing data warehousing and business intelligence requirements across industries.

• Roles & Responsibilities

• Experience in Installation, Configuration, Migration, Administration, Tuning, Diagnose, Monitor and Upgrade Oracle BI Apps (OBIEE, Informatica, DAC and ODI)

• Excellent Knowledge in Web Logic Administration and System Administration.

• Implementation experience with high availability architecture for OBIEE, code migrations, applying patches, setup and maintain folders and user administration.

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis on outages, redundant and frequently recurring issues in any of the Oracle BI Apps Servers (OBIEE, Informatica, DAC and ODI)

• Carrying out Thread Dump Analysis, Heap dump analysis, Stuck thread analysis, Application utilization analysis and reporting, Health Checks, Periodic maintenance etc.

• Knowledge of Migration and Installation of OBIEE/OAS/OAC, Informatica, DAC and ODI from scratch.

• Works with Oracle Support and SRs in case of any issues which required respective help form Oracle Support.

• Should have Knowledge of installation and configuration of web servers i.e. Apache, OHS and IIS.

• Should have knowledge about SSL protocols and mechanism.

• Should be able to fix SSL vulnerabilities and Openssl upgradation.

• Should be flexible, must escalate appropriately and have ability to multi-task

• Need to support 24x7 shifts environment including night shifts.

• Professional & Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with ODI/OBIEE/OBIA 11g/12c and informatica/DAC.

• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Database, and data modeling concepts.

• Should be well versed with Linux commands.

• Experience with data warehousing, ETL best practices, and data quality checks.

• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is an added advantage.

• Understanding of performance tuning, job scheduling, and error handling in ODI.

• Comfortable working with control tables, variables, sequences, and user functions.

• Knowledge of data security, compliance, and data governance principles.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 6-8 years of experience in ODI/OBIEE/OAS/OAC.
• Certification in Oracle Data Integrator is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and in an agile team environment.
• Should be ready to support 24x7 including night shift.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools as per project requirements.
• Experience in cloud-based data integration or hybrid architectures is a plus.
• This position is based at our Gurugram office.
