Key responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP and Fiori development, with specific expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance.
Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs and enhancements in the sustaining and depot areas.
Collaborate with functional Business System Experts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Work with the technical team and business stakeholders to support Plant Maintenance processes.
Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications in the Plant Maintenance area, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
Debug and resolve system issues, providing technical support to ensure smooth operations.
Optimize existing ABAP code and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and performance standards.
Support system upgrades, patches, and other technical initiatives as required.
Document technical designs, processes, and solutions in compliance with RTX standards.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
Experience with SAP Fiori development, including UI5 and OData services.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in a Best Cost Location (BCL) environment.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
3+ years of related experience, preferably in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
Proven expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance, with a solid understanding of Plant Maintenance functionality and industry processes.
Knowledge of SAP modules relevant to the Plant Maintenance area (e.g., PM, MM, QM).
