Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development and configuration of software systems, either managing the entire process or focusing on specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your day will involve applying your knowledge of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to effectively support clients and projects, ensuring that the software solutions meet the required specifications and quality standards. You will collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and contribute to the overall success of the software development process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  Develop and customize PTC Windchill modules based on business requirements.
  Implement workflows, UI customizations, and InfoEngine tasks for system enhancements.
  Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  Troubleshoot and resolve application, performance, and integration issues effectively.
  Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
  Knowledge of ESI, ODATA, REST,  Interfaces, and Integrations is a plus.

Professional & Technical Skills:

-Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill customization and configuration.
-Proficient in Java, JSP, Windchill APIs (JCA, OOTB services) for custom development.
-Experience with Workflows, Lifecycle templates, and Access Control policies.
-Familiar with SQL/Oracle DB concepts, InfoEngine tasks, and basic integrations.
-Understanding of Agile methodology and version control tools (Git/SVN).

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 6+ years of experience in PTC Windchill.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
