Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Network Manager with strong Site Reliability Engineering expertise to lead our enterprise network operations and ensure our global infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.
This role combines traditional network management with modern SRE practices automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement to maintain high availability and performance for critical business services.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Network Management & Strategy:

Design, implement, and manage enterprise network architecture (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, data center, cloud connectivity).
Lead a team of network engineers/administrators, providing technical direction and mentorship.
Define and enforce network policies, security standards, and best practices.

SRE & Reliability Engineering:

Apply SRE principles (SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, error budgets, blameless postmortems) to network operations.
Develop automation for network configuration, provisioning, and incident remediation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Python scripts.
Build and maintain advanced monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog).

Operations & Incident Management:

Ensure 24x7 availability of critical network services through proactive capacity planning and redundancy design.
Lead root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for incidents.
Partner with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams for seamless operations and change management.

Performance & Cost Optimization:

Track network performance metrics and optimize bandwidth utilization and cost.
Recommend technology upgrades and evaluate new tools for efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Deep knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, DNS, load balancing, and cloud networking (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Strong background in automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
Experience implementing SRE practices SLIs, SLOs, monitoring/alerting frameworks, incident response, and continuous improvement. Experience in Optimizing network infrastructure with real-time AI-aided platforms.
Hands-on with network monitoring tools (e.g., Solar Winds, Nagios, Zabbix) and modern observability stacks.

12 years of experience in enterprise networking, including at least 3 years in a managerial/leadership role.
Preferred / Nice to Have
Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, or equivalent.
Exposure to containers/Kubernetes networking and service mesh.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Enterprise Network Operations including at least 3 years in a managerial/leadership role.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master preferred)
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
  • Resource needs to be AI Ready.
