Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency in software development.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Be a expert team member, helping other technical developer
2. Helps in designing strategy for new enhancement requests and adoption of new features in Peoplesoft 9.2
3. Coordinates with Functional/Business team and transformation team to translate business requirement to technical document and diagram
4. Resolve tickets, design and build Extensions, Interfaces and Reports for Payroll for North America (NA Payroll)
5. Design and build batch programs in Payroll and fix/update existing batch programs

Professional & Technical Skills:

1. Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in People Soft People Tools.
2. Good Knowledge in App Engine, SQR, Component Interfaces, App Designer, Peoplecode, XML Publisher and Application Packages and have exposure to COBOL debugging. Must have experience in implementing Tax updates
3. Good Functional knowledge in Peoplesoft Payroll for North America (NA Payroll)
4. Good Knowledge on People Soft HCM 9.2 and People Tools 8.54 or above
5. Good in Oracle SQL/PL SQL
6. Good prior experience of working on Production Support, conversion and/or Implementation projects

• Ready to work in shifts on rotational basis
