Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies, creating automated scripts, and participating in code reviews. You will also monitor and report defects, contributing to continuous improvement efforts throughout the application lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME in K6.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Develop and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies to ensure application reliability and efficiency.
• Conduct regular reviews of testing processes and methodologies to identify areas for improvement.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices in performance testing.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Performance Testing/K6.
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks and tools related to performance testing.
• Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter or Load Runner.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
• Ability to analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Groovy or Python for test automation.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Performance Testing.
• This position is based at our Manila office.
• Experties in K6 or any similar performance testing automation tool is required.
