Project Role Description: Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Summary:

As a Technology Support Engineer (SME) specializing in F5 and DDI, you will ensure high availability, reliability, and security of application delivery and network infrastructure. You will lead design, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of F5 BIG-IP and Infoblox platforms, while mentoring junior team members, driving standardization, and improving operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for F5 & DDI technologies.
  Collaborate with and guide the team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  Make informed decisions impacting the team and cross-functional groups.
  Provide solutions for complex technical issues spanning multiple teams.
  Conduct structured training sessions to upskill junior engineers.
  Monitor and evaluate team performance to align with organizational objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  Lead end-to-end design, deployment, and lifecycle management of F5 LTM/GTM across production, DR, and non-prod environments.
  Collaborate with architects and network engineers to build scalable, resilient load-balancing and traffic distribution solutions.
  Support platform upgrades, migrations (e.g., i Series r Series), and onboarding new applications to F5 infrastructure.
  Perform proactive capacity planning, firmware upgrades, and version standardization to maintain compliance and stability.
  Create, optimize, and maintain virtual servers, pools, health monitors, profiles, and traffic flows.
  Develop, test, and troubleshoot i Rules and i Apps for advanced traffic steering, authentication, and security cases.
  Support application onboarding and BAU operational tasks following strict change-management controls.
  Maintain comprehensive documentation on F5 configurations, workflows, and design standards.
  Create/refine SOPs for BAU tasks (onboarding, failover testing, certificate renewals, etc.).
  Lead training sessions for operations and project teams to reduce SME dependency.
  Ensure documentation adheres to compliance, audit, and governance policies.
  Configure and maintain SSL offloading/bridging to optimize performance and strengthen security posture.
  Implement client- and server-side SSL profiles aligned with enterprise encryption standards.
  Automate or streamline certificate deployment and renewal for apps and devices.
  Participate in SSL/TLS compliance audits and address cipher/protocol vulnerabilities.
  Integrate Venafi with F5 devices for centralized certificate issuance and lifecycle management.
  Work with security teams to automate renewals and enforce PKI governance policies.
  Troubleshoot Venafi–F5 integration issues and contribute to automation initiatives.
  Track, renew, and maintain inventory of all device-level certificates to prevent outages.
  Architect and deploy Infoblox Grid (GM, Members, HA) for enterprise DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
  Design/manage DNS zones, views/split DNS, conditional forwarders, DHCP scopes with redundancy.
  Oversee IPAM: subnet allocation, IP planning, automated provisioning.
  Troubleshoot DNS resolution failures, DHCP issues, and grid synchronization problems.
  Enable and manage DNS security features.

Must-Have Skills:

  Strong proficiency in Software Defined Network (SDN) Implementation
  Expertise in F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM, traffic management, i Rules, SSL/TLS
  Infoblox DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) administration and troubleshooting

Good-to-Have Skills:

  Understanding of network security concepts and practices
  Familiarity with traffic routing, load balancing, and application delivery
  Experience with network monitoring and automation tools

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Software Defined Network Implementation.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
