Project Role: Enterprise Solution Architect

Project Role Description: Lead the development of complex solutions across multi-tower and/or multi- service transformational opportunities. Architect end-to-end integrated solutions leveraging the best mix of offerings, assets, and capabilities to maximize value for the client and Accenture. Ensure alignment of solution to client’s organization goals.

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced API & Integration Leads to join our API Management practice. The ideal candidates will bring deep expertise in Kubernetes and API development, with a strong understanding of modern integration patterns. Hands-on experience in Kong platform setup and deployment is mandatory.

• Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable API solutions using Kubernetes and modern frameworks.
• Drive integration architecture across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Define and enforce API governance, security, and lifecycle management.
• Promote adoption of Kong and other APIM tools (Apigee, Mule Soft, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Support client engagements, solutioning, and proposal development.
• Lead platform setup, deployment automation, and environment configuration for Kong.
• Required Skills
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience in Kong platform setup and deployment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring).
• Proficiency in API development using REST, GraphQL, or gRPC.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with API security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, API keys).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and integration patterns.
• Good to Have
• Experience with other APIM platforms like Apigee, Mule Soft, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway.
• Exposure to service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications:

• Manager: 12+ years of experience in integration and API development.
• Associate Manager: 8+ years of experience in integration and API development.
• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
