Summary:

The AWS Python Platform Engineer will develop automation utilities, backend services, and platform connectors enabling integration, monitoring, and operational tooling across enterprise data platforms. This role is hands-on and focused on engineering reusable Python-based capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-Python (API development, automation, frameworks)
-AWS Lambda, Step Functions, S3, IAM
-REST API integration
-Basic understanding of cloud networking
-Databricks, Snowflake, Collibra, or Reltio API experience
-Event-driven architectures (SQS, SNS)

Professional & Technical Skills:

-Must Have Skills: Build automation scripts and utilities to support platform operations.
-Implement Python-based APIs and jobs for system integrations.
-Develop connectors for metadata, lineage, and operational data.
-Build monitoring and operational health checks for platform services.
-Collaborate with platform teams to design reusable automation components.
-Architect end-to-end automation frameworks for platform integration.
-Lead solutioning for platform APIs, connectors, and backend enhancements.
-Drive adoption of Python-based automation across platform teams.
-Provide SME-level technical guidance for domain architects.
