Project Role: Computer Aided Design Engineer

Project Role Description: Develop and support design infrastructure, tools and automation flows used in the ASIC and SoC Development. Ensure EDA tools are properly configured, optimized and integrated into efficient workflows, covering areas such as synthesis, physical design and verification, and DFT. Collaborate with design, verification and IT teams to troubleshoot tool issues, enhance productivity through scripting and automation and ensure design quality through consistent methodology enforcement.

Summary:

As a Computer Aided Design Engineer, you will engage in the development and support of design infrastructure, tools, and automation flows utilized in the ASIC and SoC Development. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that EDA tools are configured and optimized effectively, enhancing productivity and ensuring design quality through consistent methodology enforcement. You will also troubleshoot tool issues and contribute to the overall efficiency of workflows, making a significant impact on the design process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline design processes.
• Conduct regular training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Visual Design and Development.
• Strong understanding of EDA tools and their integration into design workflows.
• Experience with scripting languages to automate design processes.
• Familiarity with synthesis, physical design, and verification methodologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve tool-related issues effectively.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Visual Design and Development.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
