Summary:

As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application requirements are met, overseeing the development process, and providing guidance to team members. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications are functioning optimally and meeting the needs of stakeholders. Your role will require you to balance technical expertise with effective communication, ensuring that all team members are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and implement BI solutions based on business requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Implement standardized best practices for BI development.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in the reporting environment.
• Monitor reporting environment performance and optimize queries.
• Collaborate with specialists to determine appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate process and system requirements with business partners.
• Ensure the quality of delivered services and solutions.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application features.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Data Modeling: Dimensional modeling, snowflakes, multi-fact/grain models.
• SQL: Advanced custom calculations, aggregations, and joins.
• DAX: Write and interpret DAX expressions.
• Data Visualization: User-story driven layout design.
• ETL: Understanding of ETL processes, jobstreams, and error identification.
• Azure Cloud: Proficiency with data science tools in Azure.
• Project Management: SAFe, Houston, or Prince2.
• Stakeholder Management: Co-creation, customer orientation.
• Collaboration: Communication, feedback, knowledge sharing.
• Business Orientation: Results-driven, proactive issue resolution.
• Strategic Thinking: Aligning personal strategies with project goals.
• Flexibility: Adapting to changing circumstances and mitigating risks.
• Ability to integrate Power BI with various data sources for comprehensive reporting.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
