Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler with strong expertise in designing and implementing data models using ER Studio or equivalent tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, preferably in Commercial Lines, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business insights.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Support multiple Commercial lines as Product Owner on Majesco platform
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and developers to understand requirements and translate them into optimized data structures.
• Ensure data models align with enterprise standards and support scalability and performance.
• Work on data warehousing solutions and contribute to data integration strategies.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Document data models and maintain metadata for easy reference and governance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Tools: Hands-on experience with ER Studio or equivalent data modeling tools.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Insurance P&C segment, preferably Commercial Lines.
• Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
• Experience: 2–4 years in similar roles involving data modeling and insurance domain.
• Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Passion: Enthusiastic about data and finding the best ways to utilize it for business value.
• Exposure to ETL processes and BI tools.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Insurance.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
