Job Summary

The GP&S Regional Protective Services Technical Lead (Specialist) will serve as the India Technical Project Lead for Global Protection and Security (GP&S). This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end technical delivery, governance, and compliance of physical security systems across Accenture facilities, including Access Control Systems (ACS), CCTV, and related security infrastructure.

The role requires close collaboration with Real Estate, Workplace, Project Management teams, landlords, and security vendors to ensure that all security designs, installations, and commissioning activities are aligned with Accenture standards, project specifications, and business requirements. The Technical Lead will act as the single point of technical accountability for security system readiness from design through operational go-live

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

1.

Design Review & Technical Governance:

  • Conduct detailed technical reviews of ACS and CCTV system designs during new site setup, expansions, and refurbishments.

  • Validate compliance with Accenture security standards, local regulations, and project specifications.

  • Partner closely with Real Estate, Workplace, architects, MEP consultants, and landlords to embed security requirements into base building and tenant fit-out designs.

  • Provide technical inputs during design workshops, landlord discussions, and construction planning meetings.

2. Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Finalization

  • Review and finalize BOQs for ACS, CCTV, cabling, servers, and associated infrastructure.

  • Confirm accuracy of material and equipment requirements.

  • Ensure alignment with approved designs, budgets, and project timelines.

3.

Cabling Activity Review:

  • Inspect and verify all security system-related cabling activities.

  • Ensure correct routing, labeling, segregation, and adherence to Accenture and industry standards.

  • Coordinate with project teams and vendors to resolve cabling deviations or quality gaps.

4.

SST Requests & Network Enablement:

  • Raise and manage SST requests for new site setups and security system onboarding.

  • Coordinate with IT and network teams to establish secure connectivity to central systems and DCC.

  • Validate network readiness prior to commissioning and go-live.

5.

CCTV Server Installation & Configuration:

  • Oversee installation and configuration of CCTV servers in line with approved designs.

  • Validate system connectivity, performance, redundancy, and storage requirements.

  • Ensure cybersecurity and access control requirements are met.

6.

Vendor Coordination & Commissioning:

  • Act as the primary technical interface with security system vendors and integrators.

  • Ensure commissioning activities strictly follow Accenture guidelines and acceptance criteria.

  • Drive timely issue resolution during installation and testing phases.

7.

Post-Implementation Validation & Go-Live Audit:

  • Conduct post-installation validation of ACS and CCTV devices.

  • Perform comprehensive go-live readiness audits with project and operations teams.

  • Confirm systems are fully operational, documented, and ready for handover to operations.

8.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with GP&S operations, Real Estate, Workplace, HR, Legal, IT, and external landlords.

  • Provide technical guidance and assurance to leadership on security system readiness and risks.

  • Support crisis management and behavioral threat response through reliable security infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering.

  • Strong experience in technical aspects of safety and security, including security technology audits, system design, and implementation.

  • Proven experience as a technical lead or team lead in security systems projects.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in emergency response and/or crisis management.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide clear direction during critical situations.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, rapport building, and influencing skills.

  • Strong time management with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Proven ability to handle and protect highly confidential information.

  • Demonstrate success influencing cross-functional and cross-regional teams.

  • Ability to analyze operational and technical data and present insights to leadership.

  • Language skills preferred.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work non-standard hours, including being on-call 24x7, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
