Senior Java Full Stack Developer (AWS, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture) Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java-based application development and hands-on experience in cloud modernization projects on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to microservices and event-driven architectures, along with experience in Kafka, Redis caching, databases, and AWS native services. This role is suited for a senior technologist who can contribute both hands-on development and technical leadership in large-scale enterprise modernization initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java full stack applications with scalable and maintainable code.
Build and enhance microservices-based architectures using Java and related frameworks. Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka for asynchronous communication.
Lead and contribute to AWS cloud modernization projects, migrating monolithic systems to cloud-native architectures.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services. Utilize Redis Cache for performance optimization and low-latency data access.
Work with relational databases, primarily Oracle Database, for data modeling and optimization. Design and implement solutions using AWS native services.
Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver secure, high-performing solutions. Ensure adherence to best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills & Experience Primary Skills:

10+ years of hands-on Java development experience. Strong expertise in Java Full Stack development (backend and front-end integration).
Experience building enterprise-grade applications using Java frameworks (Spring / Spring Boot preferred).
Strong experience in microservices architecture and REST API development.
Cloud & Event-Driven Technologies Minimum 3 years of hands-on AWS experience.
Proven experience in AWS-based cloud modernization projects. Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture using Kafka. Experience with AWS native services, such as: EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB Lambda, API Gateway SNS, SQS, MSK (Kafka on AWS) Data & Caching Strong experience with Oracle Database.
Good knowledge of other relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with Redis Cache for performance optimization.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to DevOps / CI-CD pipelines. Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Knowledge of AWS security best practices (IAM, encryption, VPC). Prior experience in high-volume, distributed systems.

Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers. Comfortable working in fast-paced, enterprise environments.

Additional Information:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. AWS certifications (Developer / Solutions Architect) are a plus.
