Job Summary
The Workplace Space Delivery Lead will be a key member of the India Occupancy Planning team, responsible for driving space planning solutions, occupancy metrics, and portfolio optimization across all India locations.
This role will lead space planning, demand and supply management, infrastructure and inventory governance, and workplace initiatives related to the space portfolio. The incumbent will also oversee reporting, enable portfolio optimization, and support technology enhancements for space planning tools.
Through strong governance, program management, and stakeholder collaboration, the role will work closely with internal teams, business leadership, and external partners to deliver both tactical execution and long-term strategic objectives, ensuring zero production impact and optimized space utilization.
Roles & Responsibilities
Space & Occupancy Planning
- Develop and execute space plans aligned with business unit and project team requirements.
- Drive centralized occupancy planning by identifying tasks, allocating them to transaction teams through bandwidth analysis, and tracking execution to closure.
- Prepare and maintain a rolling 90-day allocation and release forecast, with special focus on secured bay demands and mitigation actions.
- Ensure zero production impact by proactively managing supply risks and capacity constraints.
Demand & Supply Management
- Escalate and resolve complex space supply issues in collaboration with business leadership.
- Maintain just-in-time space availability aligned with growth forecasts.
Space Inventory & Governance
- Govern and maintain complete control over space inventory across locations.
- Ensure periodic data reconciliation between multiple space and occupancy databases.
- Enforce strict adherence to space planning guidelines, tax zone compliance, and governance standards.
Program & Change Management
- Lead program management responsibilities for workplace initiatives, ensuring end-to-end execution.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to enable smooth transitions and operational continuity.
Utilization & Optimization
- Track space utilization and occupancy levels on an ongoing basis.
- Identify underutilization and proactively recommend optimization strategies to improve efficiency.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders within Workplace, business teams, internal partners, and vendors.
- Act as a single point of accountability for alignment on space plans and delivery outcomes.
Reporting & Ownership
- Own accurate, efficient, and timely daily and weekly reporting.
- Maintain strict governance over chargeability, area statements, and portfolio metrics.
