Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Administrator with over 10 years of expertise in managing and optimizing cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), as well as deep knowledge of automation, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security best practices.
This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and compliance across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Administration (Azure & AWS):

• Manage day-to-day operations of cloud environments.

Kubernetes Management (AKS & EKS):

• Deploy, configure, upgrade, and secure Kubernetes clusters manage namespaces, networking, and RBAC policies troubleshoot container workloads and ingress/egress traffic.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Develop and maintain automation using Terraform, Terragrunt, ARM templates, CloudFormation, or Bicep for consistent environment deployment.
• Experience in one or more from Run Deck, VRA/VRO, Azure DevOps, GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, Docker Desktop, Visual Studio/VS Code, Puppet, Jira, Confluence, Wiz.io, Crowdstrike Logscale, Sonar Qube, Cloud Health.

DevOps & CI/CD Integration:

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Docker Desktop, Artifactory (Hosted) or GitHub Actions, ensuring seamless deployment of containerized applications.

Security & Compliance:

• Implement and manage security controls (IAM, Key Vault, Security Groups, Policies, WIZ.IO.) ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.

Monitoring & Observability:

• Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Cloud Health

Disaster Recovery & High Availability:

• Design and maintain DR strategies, including backup, replication, and failover testing for critical workloads.

Performance Optimization & Cost Management:

• Analyze and optimize compute, storage, and network utilization across Azure and AWS for efficiency and cost savings.

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with development, security, and architecture teams to implement best practices create runbooks, SOPs, and architecture documentation.

Professional and Technical Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of total experience in IT Infrastructure / Cloud Administration.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure and AWS environments.
• Expertise in ITIL practices which includes Change Management, Service Request, Problem management and Knowledge Base.
• Proven expertise in AKS and EKS management, troubleshooting, and scaling.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools – Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in both clouds (VNet, VPC, IAM, NSG, NACL, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container registries (ACR, ECR).
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows administration in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Certifications such as:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Solutions Architect Expert
• AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator / Solutions Architect
• ITIL Certified.
• CKA / CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Administrator / Application Developer)
• Exposure to multi-cloud governance, cost optimization tools (Cloud Health, Wiz, or Turbonomic).
• Experience with Git Ops tools (ArgoCD, Flux) and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
