Project Role: Test Automation Lead

Project Role Description: Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Summary:

Responsible for supporting, enhancing, and stabilizing Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules by combining strong functional understanding of end to end supply chain processes with hands on technical expertise. Acts as the primary SME for incident resolution, minor enhancements, root cause analysis, and cross functional impact assessments across procurement, inventory, order management, logistics, and manufacturing flows. Lead and own the AS400 / Mainframe application stack delivery within the AMS engagement.

Act as the single point of contact for AS400-related incidents, changes, and escalations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end delivery for AS400 / IBM i applications, ensuring SLA adherence and production stability.
Manage incident, problem, and change management processes for the AS400 stack.
Drive prioritization, workload planning, and resource coordination for AS400 support activities.
Serve as escalation point for P1/P2 incidents related to mainframe systems.
Provide technical oversight for RPG, CL, COBOL (if applicable), DB2, and batch job processing.
Troubleshoot complex production issues involving batch failures, performance degradation, and integration breakdowns.
Ensure robust monitoring of job schedules, interfaces, and nightly processing.
Oversee code deployments, environment management, and release coordination.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AS/400 COBOL 400 (Programming Language).
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Experience in implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
• Familiarity with performance testing and load testing tools.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 10-15 years of experience in AS/400 COBOL 400 (Programming Language).
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
