Project Role: Technology Account Lead

Project Role Description: Function as primary contact for technology work at each account. Integrate technology contracts and engagements at the client. Leverage all technology offerings to expand the scope of technology work at the account (up-sell/cross-sell). Create the technology account plan and get the right people involved to maximize the opportunity and build the account.

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Systems Manager with strong expertise in Media platforms, Set-Top Boxes (STB), Smart TVs, and Embedded Devices. The candidate will lead technical teams, drive solution design, and support delivery for complex embedded and multimedia systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage embedded engineering teams delivering Media, STB, Smart TV, and IoT/Embedded Device solutions
• Own end-to-end delivery including requirement analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment
• Provide technical leadership in Advanced Embedded Systems architecture and design
• Drive code quality, performance optimization, and system stability
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and client stakeholders
• Support external hiring, EI interviews, technical evaluations, and SCP readiness
• Mentor team members and build embedded engineering capability within the unit
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in Embedded C / C++
• Hands-on experience with Linux / Embedded Linux
• Experience in Media frameworks (GStreamer, FFmpeg, OpenMAX, etc.)
• Expertise in STB / Smart TV platforms (Android TV, RDK-V, Linux-based TV platforms)
• Strong understanding of SoC architectures (Broadcom, Qualcomm, Media Tek, NXP, etc.)
• Experience with device drivers, BSP, bootloaders (U-Boot)
• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, RTP/RTSP, HDMI, DRM)
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.)

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Advanced Embedded System Engineering.
• Experience with RDK, Android AOSP, Yocto
• Knowledge of OTT streaming platforms and DRM technologies
• Exposure to IoT and edge devices
• Client-facing experience and presales support
• Experience in Agile / SAFe delivery models
