Summary:

As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreements. A typical day involves monitoring system performance, addressing incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that services meet the agreed-upon standards. You will engage in proactive problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that operational processes are efficient and effective

Key Responsibilities Technical Experience Professional Attributes Educational Qualification:
Experience in defining, developing and delivering data transmission solutions,
Enterprise level FTP and Fax products like System Center Orchestrator SCOM/ SCORCH , Right Fax Utility.
Running, maintaining and administrating all aspects of the Microsoft System Center Orchestrator tool and Right Fax servers
Work with internal and external customers to configure and troubleshoot file transfer automations wherever possible. MS Orchestrator experience is highly desirable
Must have a basic understanding of UNIX fundamentals, standard command knowledge and shell scripting.
Experience performing maintenance and administrative tasks within an application.
Proficient in technical skills or knowledge in position-related areas and the ability to keep current with that knowledge and trends in areas of expertise.
Ability to create and document instructions so that others can follow them.
A strong technical aptitude, strong problem solving skills.
Manage work queues and track user issues and requests. Complete work queue items according to procedures.
Ability to manage multiple tasks including project tasks, deadlines, etc.
Ability to interact with vendors for support and information
Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation are necessary.
Must be customer service oriented, flexible and adaptable. Configure, implement and support of data transmission solutions Enterprise level FTP and Fax products Right Fax.
Configure secure file transfer SFTP definitions to deliver files to intended destination.
Right Fax application utility, FTP tools like IPSwitch, File Zilla, Win Scp etc.
Should have experience on SQL administration, application Monitoring and IAM -Identity Access Management
2-4 years of experience in Redwood JScape Managed File Transfer.
2-4 years of experience in any Enterprise MFT tool.
2+ years of experience on database and basic SQL syntax including inserts, updates, deletes and joins.
2-4 years of experience with File transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP/SCP, HTTP, Connect:Direct)
Configure SFTP definitions to securely deliver files to intended destination.
3+ years of experience in Linux/ Unix commands.
Ability to understand PGP in details.
Basic scripting skills required (Shell Script).
Good to have experience in Application maintenance, Application patching, Certificate management.
Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot issues and drive to RCA.
Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP. Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customer, stake holders at varying levels of the organization.
Technical documentation skills
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment BTech/ BE in CS or Electronics Communication

  • The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Incident Management.
