Project Role Description: Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary:

As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery of production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. Your typical day will involve ensuring the smooth functioning of production systems and services, addressing operational requirements, and adhering to service agreements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage customer and internal infrastructure comprising of environment of multiple different Windows OS flavors like Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025 with different roles installed on servers like active directory, Certificate services CA, File shares etc on physical, Vmware, Hyper-V infrastructure along with multiple cloud vendor like, AWS Azure OCI GCP
• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
• Develop and implement modular architectures for application development.
• Utilize next-generation integration techniques to enhance application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in application development.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025)

• Knowledge of Active Directory, Certificate Authority, Group Policy, DFS, DNS, and DHCP

• Understanding of OS build, Upgrades, Setup and Performance related issues.

• Understanding of network protocols and security best practices

• Operational Knowledge of Public Cloud Technologies – AWS / Azure / OCI

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.

• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles.

• Experience with virtualization technologies like Hyper-V or VMware.

• Knowledge of network protocols and security measures.

• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving server-related issues.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Team Player, Good Communication skills, Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities, 24X7 rotational shifts.
• A 15 years full-time education is required.
