✨ Your Role – Functional Analyst

As a Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging business needs and technical delivery within a complex and mission‑critical environment. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical squads to ensure the correct interpretation and translation of requirements into functional specifications.

Main Missions:

• Conduct functional analysis, gather business needs, and translate them into clear functional specifications.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure functional consistency during design, development, and testing phases.

• Define and maintain functional documentation, workflows, and user journeys.

• Support UAT phases, validate deliverables with business stakeholders, and ensure functional quality across the product lifecycle.

📌 Responsibilities (Technical & Functional)

• Analyze business processes and challenge requirements to ensure feasibility and alignment with product strategy.

• Provide functional expertise to developers and testers, ensuring a shared understanding of requirements.

• Participate in backlog grooming, functional design sessions, and solution validation workshops.

• Perform functional testing, defect classification, and support root-cause analysis.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying functional enhancements and optimization opportunities.

• Use tools such as UML/BPMN, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional diagrams.

📍 Location & Work Mode

The role is based in Brussels, in a hybrid work model combining on‑site presence and remote days for optimal collaboration and balance.It is essential to reside in Belgium and hold a valid work permit.

🎓 Profile & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or similar role.

• English C1 level or bilingual (Dutch is a plus).

• French C1 level or bilingual

• Minimum Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in IT, engineering, business analysis, or related field.

• Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Experience in large‑scale or complex environments is an asset.
