Project Role Description: Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for our software and embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, testing strategies, CI/CD systems, and hands-on experience validating high-quality products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-Design, develop, and maintain automation tests using Python
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new test cases
-Ensure test automation best practices and coding standards are followed.
-Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and coverage.
-Maintain test documentation, test plans, and defect reports
-Debug test failures, analyze logs, and provide actionable insights to developers.

-Analytical capability: relevant information gathering, structured analysis approach, aim-oriented interpretation acumen
-Communication proficiency in English, both oral and in writing

Must have :
-3–7 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Python/Ruby.
-Knowledge about embedded development
-Strong Experience working with Python test frameworks pytest, unittest, Robot Framework
-Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, smoke, performance).
-Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
-Good understanding of Linux environments, basic shell scripting.
-Proficiency in source-code management, software building, and continuous integration
-Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, ethernet)

Good to Have:

-Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) knowledge
-Cyber Security (preferably ISO/IEC 27001:2022)
-Preferred training: i

SAQB Certified Professional for Software Architecture:

• Foundation Level
