Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Research & Development Senior Analyst to join our Software Engineering R&D team at Accenture Labs. Software Engineering R&D team investigates implications of emerging tech like Agentic AI on software systems and software engineering. We develop thought leadership, impactful technology demonstrations and asset prototypes, and communicate research through premier academic forums (ICSE, ASE, ISEC and FSE), and relevant business forums.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply deep knowledge in specific technical areas to solve complex problems and advance research objectives.
• Develop research proof of concepts with supervision, delivering solutions to well-defined problems.
• Clearly and logically present ideas and findings in written presentations, ensuring proper structure and flow.
• Deliver scripted content confidently to internal leadership and clients.
• Critically analyze and assess the research landscape within targeted technical domains, offering insights and recommendations under guidance.
• Collaborate with senior researchers to refine and develop impactful projects. In your role you will be expected to: You will contribute to developing novel proof of concepts to demonstrate the future of software engineering in the Agentic AI era and participate in client innovation delivery projects aligned with the R&D charter.

Additional Information: Currently hybrid role. Job location is Bangalore and in office presence is required for project determined days and other requirements.

What We Are Looking For:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in researching and developing technical solutions within a collaborative environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to structure presentations for maximum clarity and impact.
• Ability to work under supervision while independently managing assigned components of research projects.

Technical skills:

• Full stack application development
• Python development for AI / ML application development
• Use of agentic coding tools such GitHub Copilot / Claude Code

Preferred Additional skills:

• Exposure to Generative AI and Agentic AI development
• Development of ML / Deep Learning models for structured / unstructured data, text and vision.
• Exposure to knowledge graphs and ontology development or usage.About Our Company | Accenture

Experience – 1 to 3 years in a R&D organization or an Innovation Center in a research / product / IT services organization.

Educational Qualification: Master’s in computer science / software engineering / AI (MTech or MS)
