Project Role: Solution Architect

Project Role Description: Translate client requirements into differentiated, deliverable solutions using in-depth knowledge of a technology, function, or platform. Collaborate with the Sales Pursuit and Delivery Teams to develop a winnable and deliverable solution that underpins the client value proposition and business case.

Summary:

As a Functional Architect, your primary mission is to Ensure E2E (End-to-End) Functional Consistency across the manufacturing digital thread. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between raw business requirements and the native capabilities of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to deliver a robust, scalable digital manufacturing solution.
You will lead the functional design and implementation of DELMIA solutions within the 3DEXPERIENCE ecosystem.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders to capture As-Is manufacturing processes and define To-Be digital transformation roadmaps.
  2. Translate complex business requirements into high-level functional specifications and Solution Blueprints.
  3. Architect solutions across core DELMIA modules: Process Planner, Manufacturing Item Definition, Work Instructions, and Plant Layout.
  4. Apply expertise in Digital Manufacturing simulations (Robotics, Ergonomics, and Time Studies) to validate production feasibility.
  5. Design and govern the Change Management process (ECR/ECN) to ensure manufacturing is aligned with engineering revisions.
  6. Define P&O (People & Organization) structures, including security contexts, roles, and collaborative spaces.
  7. Collaborate with DS Solution Architect/ Technical Architects/Business Teams to design integrations between 3DEXPERIENCE and downstream systems like ERP (SAP/Oracle) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
  8. Collect and validate Dassault Systems (DS) recommendations in close collaboration with Business Analysts (BA) to ensure alignment with software vendor best practices.
  9. Collect ER/SR (Enhancement Requests / Service Requests) to secure CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) delivery, ensuring technical issues are tracked and resolved within the project timeline.
  10. Guide the team on Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) best practices vs. the need for customization to ensure long-term platform maintainability.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Dassault Systems 3DEXPERIENCE Platform DELMIA.
    1.Platform Knowledge: Deep expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE (R2021x or later). Familiarity with ENOVIA (for data management) and CATIA (for design context) is essential.
  1. Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of PPR (Product, Process, Resource) data models.
  2. Strong understanding of E2E manufacturing processes, including Digital Twin concepts and shop-floor integration
  3. Go to have: Knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE Development Fundamentals including MQL, CAA, EKL, DMC & etc.

Additional Information: 1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
2. Comfortable in discussing technical issues with stakeholders
3. Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical trouble shooting skills
4. Provide functional oversight during the entire project lifecycle (Agile/SAFe environments).
