The Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing is responsible for assisting in the development, management and executions of brand campaigns and assets that attract, engage and retain consumers and build brand affinity and equity. This includes, but is not limited to messaging, creative, media (TV, Digital, social media (paid and organic) and websites.

The Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing is the day-to-day owner of essential marketing programs and works closely with the Director of Consumer Marketing to ensure brand positioning and strategic imperatives are integrated into brand campaigns and to ensure all initiatives support both brand awareness/consideration and conversion/trial goals.

This role will work fluidly between cross-functional partners and external agencies and must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of annual brand planning, including business objectives, strategies and translation of strategies to marketing programs and campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal creative team and external creative agencies to develop high-quality, engaging content tailored to both organic and paid channels (TV, digital, social, etc.) ensuring alignment with brand voice, messaging, funnel-based objectives, and website high value actions
  • Assist in the development of the media mix and the execution of the media plan alongside internal Media COE and external media partners. Continuously analyze data to inform media optimization
  • Execute web based consumer marketing strategy and tactics to drive engagement and lead generation
  • Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices in digital content creation, including platform algorithms, and audience engagement tactics
  • Manage the implementation of marketing programs and collaborate with cross functional team members to optimize the programs’ message and ensure consistency and flawless execution across all relevant channels (includes, but not limited to TV, digital, social, print, web, influencer, PR, partnerships, CRM and earned media)
  • Develop campaign briefs that identify key consumers, program objectives and strategies, budget, KPIs and a successful measurement plan
  • Collaborate with Regulatory, Legal, Medical and Compliance counterparts to ensure all creative meet requirements
  • Partner with internal and external creative teams, cross functional teams, and media agency to develop, manage and execute an annual 360-degree communication calendar
  • Lead management and maintenance of brand websites, coordinate with internal development team to ensure web updates are planned and deployed in a timely fashion
  • Manage cross-functional reporting to ensure that it is tracking key KPIs, delivered on-time, and that identified optimizations are executed
  • Assist in the development and management of the consumer budget, including managing POs

Location- Irvine, CA- This role is headquarter based

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required, MBA or related Master’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of consumer marketing/brand management experience executing 360-degree brand campaigns
    Preferred experience in aesthetics, beauty, fashion, wellness or CPG marketing

Agency Management experience preferred

  • Proven portfolio or track record of developing successful integrated content campaigns across multiple digital channels.
  • Demonstrated expertise in content creation for digital (organic and paid), including strong visual and storytelling abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics and optimization techniques for both organic and paid content, leveraging data to inform content strategy.
  • Solid business acumen and ability to translate business and brand strategy into marketing programs
  • Ability to manage and direct internal creative teams and external agencies
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, deadline driven, team environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem resolution skills
  • Financial/budgetary experience
  • Organized, self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to travel
