EMEA Content Manager to build and scale the next generation of commercial capabilities across the region.

About the Role:

Abbott Nutrition is looking for an experienced and forward‑thinking EMEA Content Manager – OOP/Consumer to lead the development of high‑impact content strategies that inspire, educate, and convert out‑of‑pocket (OOP) consumers across the EMEA region.

In this role, you will shape and execute innovative digital and retail content that is insight‑driven, locally relevant, and fully aligned with our brand and commercial priorities. You’ll work closely with regional marketing, insights, e Commerce, retail, and global partners to elevate content quality, drive engagement, and support the growth of Abbott’s consumer brands.

This position is ideal for a digital‑savvy content strategist who thrives in matrixed environments, understands diverse EMEA markets, and is passionate about using content to drive business impact.

  • What You’ll Do Content Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute best‑in‑class, consumer‑facing content strategies across digital and retail channels.

  • Ensure all content aligns with campaign objectives and supports brand, commercial, and channel needs.

  • Optimise content for SEO, engagement, and conversion across owned and paid media.

  • Manage content calendars, production workflows, and end‑to‑end localisation across EMEA markets.

  • Maintain brand consistency and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with CRM teams to support email and CRM journey content development.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with Brand Managers and the EMEA Head of Marketing on brand‑aligned content development.

  • Work with Retail & e Commerce CoE teams to support shopper activation and retail content needs.

  • Collaborate with Insights and Data teams to translate consumer insights into actionable content direction.

  • Coordinate with local market teams to adapt and deploy content effectively across diverse countries.

This role will grow significantly as Abbott advances its digital and content capabilities. The successful candidate will help shape the future by:

  • Championing AI‑driven content generation and automation tools.

  • Implementing dynamic and modular content frameworks for real‑time optimisation.

  • Supporting capability‑building across EMEA and contributing to the marketing function’s digital transformation.

  • What We’re Looking For Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in content marketing, digital strategy, or related roles within healthcare, nutrition, or FMCG.

  • Proven track record in developing and executing multi‑channel content strategies.

  • Strong understanding of SEO, CRM, and performance marketing principles.

  • Experience in cross‑functional, matrixed, and multi‑market environments.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project‑leadership skills.

  • Hands‑on experience with CMS platforms, analytics tools, and AI‑driven content solutions.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.

  • Advanced certification or postgraduate qualification in digital marketing or content strategy.

  • Proficiency with SEO platforms, CRM systems, and marketing analytics tools.
