The Opportunity:

For our Abbott Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) in Abbott in Serbia we are looking for a talented, well-motivated person to join our field support team as a Field Technical Engineer.
The Field Technical Engineer is responsible for providing primary technical support to physicians and nurses during CRM procedures using Abbott equipment over the assigned territory.

What You'll do:

  • Provide primary technical support to physicians and nurses during CRM procedures using Abbott equipment over the assigned territory.

  • Support CRM strategy and its execution, by supporting all activities related to the promotion of CRM products, including internal and external educational programs, customer clinical training and other Abbott events.

  • Participate in the creation of tailor-made training programs based on customer needs and requirements and perform product presentations and training to customers.

  • Respond to technical questions that might be raised by customer personnel.

  • Maintain up to date technical knowledge of current and new Abbott products, therapies, and technologies as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market.

  • Proactively communicate to the Sales and Marketing organization relevant information that can pertain to: the account, the physicians, product preferences, procedural preference, etc.

Required qualifications and background:

  • Bachelors / Engineering degree in electrical / mechanical / biomedical engineering

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Very good command of English and Serbian is a must.

  • More than 2 years of experience as or a proven track record in a similar position is advantage.

  • Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues.

  • Experience in use of analytical tools and software.

  • Valid driver’s license (B category) – Probationary Permit is not enough.
