The Opportunity:

This position for our Established **Pharmaceutical Division, in the WESTERN CAPE  **where we are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world’s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design appropriate strategy to achieve sales goals and targets in assigned territory;

  • Achievement of sales, market share and growth objectives in the region;

  • Maintain satisfactory customer call rate, strike rate and territory coverage;

  • Compile and update sales operating plan for region;

 Identify new business opportunities;

  • Attend cycle meetings and conferences;

  • Negotiate additional display areas and space, in line with marketing objectives, to accentuate the brand building activities.

  • Build and maintain business relationships in-store / in practice with all personnel who have an impact upon the company’s business.

  • Accurately take stock in-store utilizing customer stock cards use as a tool in negotiating the order.

  • Build impactful and appealing dis-plays to assist the pharmacy to “move-through” stock.

  • Assist with merchandising: Ensure stock is well presented, Packed and available to the consumer FIFO principle.

  • Detail and train staff in-store inclusive of All Healthcare Professionals.

Required Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Human Sciences/Marketing/Business Management preferred.

Preference experience: -3 years of pharmacy sales experience is mandatory.

  • Experience and established pharmacy relationships essential.

  • Fluent in English

  • Strong sales track record, sound organizational skills and time management skill

 History of superior territory coverage in the Western Cape will be an advantage.

 Positive with a can-do attitude.

 Integrity, initiative, and adaptability.

 Entrepreneurial spirit.

 Skilled negotiator, problem solver, and closer.

 Ability to develop long-term business relationships.

 Good communicator and self-motivated

 Business planning acumen and ability.

 Computer literacy ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

 Compliance with company Code of Conduct.
