JOB DESCRIPTION:

Month end closing

• Ensure timely and accurate record of financial information and provide analysis of variance to LBE and Plan, supporting both SG and MY Core Dx division for both balance sheet and P&L.
• Reporting inventory split report to Area Finance
• Performs CPRR reconciliation on a quarterly basis
• Weekly sales reporting to the commercial team
• Regular review of Balance Sheet to ensure timeliness and accuracy of record
• Coordinate with CFS/ shared services on accounting entries required
• Prepare journals for month end closing
• Support in driving GMI projects such as FOC reduction and CPRR efficiency

Annual Costing Process:

• Supporting loading of transfer prices in system

Other Duties

• Improvement projects
• Loading of customer prices (per contract)
• Mapping of customer data (MDM)
• Act as the first line of approval for Finance
• Ad hoc analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis / business partnering with strong financial understanding and modeling skills
• Experience in Audit or Big Four would be advantageous
• Able to translate strategic goals and initiatives into effective financial interpretation to support and delivery of goals and initiatives.
• Integration and change management skills and hands on experience preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, experience in interfacing between functional departments
• Good understanding and experience of business processes in a global organization
• Analytical thinking and ability to simplify complex processes to improve efficiency
• Continuous improvement mindset to look for efficiencies.
