Abbott Medical GmbH in Eschborn in their Electrophysiology (EP) division is looking for a

Senior Manager (m/f/d) Global Podium Excellence Electrophysiology

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will manage and execute day‑to‑day marketing, education, and congress-related programs involving live and recorded electrophysiology cases. You ensure alignment with Abbott’s business objectives, regulatory standards, and brand expectations. You will lead the end‑to‑end process for case content, congress presentations, and cross‑functional coordination while managing a team and supporting the broader EP marketing and clinical strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of Abbott’s presence at key electrophysiology congresses and related education/marketing initiatives
  • Manage end‑to‑end workflow for live and recorded EP cases, including case selection, preparation, recording, editing, and content release
  • Ensure all activities meet regulatory, clinical, and brand standards
  • Coordinate and integrate congress content (e.g., Rhythm Theater, booth presentations) across functions
  • Act as central liaison between Education, Product Marketing, Clinical Affairs, MARCOM, R&D, and global teams
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team responsible for case coordination and congress execution
  • Maintain a high‑quality global case library and ensure content availability on EP Institute
  • Provide onsite support at major events and oversee post‑event debriefs and follow‑up

Education & Experience You’ll Bring

  • Engineering or Medical degree or equivalent, plus several years of experience in clinical education or related discipline
  • 5+ years in training/curriculum development incl. needs assessment & training program design
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role
  • Strong judgment and organizational experience in clinical education or sales
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Business travel required (approx. 10–20%)
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in medical devices, education, or training
  • Fluency in English; proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, and online publication tools
  • Demonstrated training expertise and understanding of adult learning principles
