Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for an After Sales Engineer to join our team at ABB, High Power division in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki.
In this role you will be responsible for providing technical support as a member of our after sales team, in our product engineering and quality department. You will have the opportunity to develop into a true expert in low voltage AC drives.
You will work in close cooperation with our customers, sales, R&D, product management and production. At the core of this role is technical support for our variable-frequency drives (VFDs).
Previous experience working in a similar role or with similar products is a benefit, but first and foremost we are looking for willingness to grow into the role.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Providing global technical support on variable frequency drives, their modules and software components

Managing guarantees

Solving technical issues related to our products

Collaborating with several different stakeholders on resolving technical support cases

Providing world class customer service to our customers
Y our background

A few years of work experience, preferably working with similar industrial and electrical products, is essential
-
Knowledge of electric drives, including basic knowledge of AC drives is essential
-
You are fluent in English, Finnish is seen as an advantage
-
The ability to work both independently but also in close co-operation with different stakeholders is relevant
-
A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics
