This Position reports to:

Sales Support Manager:

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in conjunction with the Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology. Each day, you will determine costs, prepare final documentation, and serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential causes, and recommending future actions.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.

• Preparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.

• Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization.

• Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates it to the Sales organization

• Leading the continuous improvement of technical estimation support for local and regional projects, under the guidance of the Estimation Manager and Local Division Manager
  (ELSE).

• Ensuring consistent and effective management of the regional/local technical support portfolio, in alignment with ABB best practices and policies.

• Contributing to identifying project pipelines and conducting technical needs assessments. Assists in designing calls for proposals and selection processes.

• Validating and supporting the implementation of adequate HSE measures in project operations. Promotes and sustains a strong HSE culture within the organization.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in electrical engineering

• You are at ease communicating in English

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

• 0-2 years of industry experience in a relevant technical role.

• Ability to assess and understand customer financial behavior and status.

• skilled in conflict management and handling escalations.

• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and SAP systems.

• Solid commercial understanding relevant to project estimation and execution
