This Position reports to:

Sales Operations Manager:

As a Sales Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to deploy operations strategy, processes, best practices, and solutions to realize the complete process from order to cash and implement them within your region.

Each day, you will be accountable for end of line metrics and proactively leading, developing, and coaching the related Sales Operations team. You will also showcase your expertise by proposing and implementing process optimization to reduce lead time and inventory. You will also have the opportunity to plan, direct, and monitor all activities in the warehouse. You will develop and manage warehouse operations to effectively control the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products, systems, and services to customers.
The work model for the role is: onsite.

  • This role is contributing to the Motion
  • Nema MONM in Central Region.
    You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Developing optimization plans to increase operational excellence and customer satisfaction within the order to cash process.
  • Operating within the approved budget and managing the warehouse staff activities to optimize resource utilization and determines corrective actions for cost-related issues as necessary.
  • Planning and optimizing warehouse utilization and inventory.
  • Monitoring the storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders and keeping stock control systems up to date; and overseeing stock control and processing orders.
  • Focusing on the achievement of the assigned targets of forecasting accuracy, inventory turn of finished goods, customer request on-time delivery, lead-time for stock and non-stock items, aging stock, and wrong delivery/transportation damages.
  • Ensuring the adoption of the integrated business planning process locally to align the demand with finished goods planning and fulfillment, for the assigned unit.
  • Implementing processes and best practices for sales and operations planning and purchasing, including finished goods inventory management.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Post secondary education in a related field, 5-8+ years experience in Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Shipping & Receiving, Internal Logistics, Inventory, Material Handling and/or Distribution Operations, customer service management, people management.
  • NEMA Electric knowledge/experience preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Ability to build relationships, speak/present effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees comprised of various levels of personnel
  • Demonstrated capability in Customer Experience & Success, driving adoption and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Experience managing Budgeting, Forecasting, and Performance Targets with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Solid knowledge of Contract & Risk Management, legal frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong adherence to Health and Safety, and being a role model for the customer service and warehouse team.
