Your Role: Own the Challenge/Take on the Journey
- Work with global procurement and logistics team to develop, align and implement component and supplier strategies based on global market/technology trend. Develop and implement tools to improve global component supply chain management productivity
- Commodity supplier/distributor management/evaluation and performance monitoring
- Manage global supplier/EMS relationships/performance review .Drive commodity supply chain improvement objectives and cost savings, deliver continuous and sustainable spend reduction through supplier negotiation, new sourcing models and purchasing process optimization
- Manage and drive global purchasing process productivity improvement plans. Manage and maintain global commodity database/system. Manage global commodity supply chain and stock level to ensure supply security. Document maintenance/global price control. Data analysis and component library management. Contract management like LOA, NDA etc.
What it takes to Run what runs the world
- Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum 3years experience as commodity/category/EMS manager, proven experience in industrial business area is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Electronics market, purchasing process, sourcing strategy and application. Knowledge of contractual and legal aspects
- Good understanding of business practices, market dynamics and trends. Good negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- International minded and can work in a global team. Fluent written and spoken English/Chinese
- Excellent in office software incl. Excel, PPT, Power BI etc.
- Ability to work independently in a virtual, remote environment
